Well hello! My name is Addison Tucker, and I love life! This blog will focus on... the family! I'd really like to focus on morals that uphold the family and how to face the challenges that seem to be popping up everywhere. I'll get this ball rolling with my own family!
My mom and dad were married in 1991, and they started their family. They have six kids, of which I am the oldest. After me there are two boys, two girls, and then a baby brother. We also have a dog, Lola, who is a chocolate lab and terrier mix. Our family likes to go on bike rides or walks, go camping, and eat big family dinners (after making them together).
One of my favorite family memories was the time we went to the Oregon and Washington coast. We actually had an enjoyable car ride (amazing for eight people in one car for three hours) and made it to the beach. I love the beach because it's a place where our family relaxes and has a good time together.
At the end of all of the sand castles, boogie boarding, and the reapplying of sunscreen (we all go from very pale and then suddenly, lobster!), I was helping my mom pack up to go home. The sun was setting and my brothers and sisters were running down some seagulls with my dad chasing them. We all eventually got into the car and drove away, sandy, warm and happy together. It was a great day at the beach.
